The project, Riviera Maya Investment Forum was presented before various public officials representing the Quintana Roo and the Playa del Carmen state and municipality government leaders this past Thursday.  The layout of the Playa del Carmen land on the west side of the highway 307 is being defined for the future growth.  The real estate association (AMPI) informed that the Riviera Maya Investment Forum will be organized for the 7, 8 and 9th of November of the present year.

It was indeed a pleasure to be invited to one of the long awaited events in the Playa del Carmen Condos market.  The event was held last Thursday evening in Playa’s newest gated community that will include a brand new Nick Price PGA golf course, that is currently being constructed. It was a very well elegantly planned and larger than expected. There had to be at least 500 people of combined owners, real estate agents and other VIP’s.  Truly a top event for any Mexico real estate project from any region.

Not everything is about my Playa del Carmen real estate job and I thought I would share this not common event that occurs once a year.  This past weekend marked the 4th year that a magical event has taken place in the Riviera Maya. It is a historical journey back to 500 BC, and is a re-enactment of the sacred pilgrimage of the Mayan culture  to the island of Cuzamil (now known as Cozumel). Today in Playa del Carmen, the journey is accomplished as it was back in the day by handcrafted canoes and the oarsmen, many are brave volunteers, wear similar attire from that time as well.

Playa del Carmen Real Estate presents some attractive land options for those who have a special dream beachfront home in mind, and want to build have it built accordingly. While Playa del Carmen Land includes various excellent options, such as golf course lots in the Playacar neighborhood – a high-end gated community next to downtown, with quick access not only to Playa del Carmen's famous Fifth Avenue, but also to a Walmart, Mega (a Mexican store similar to Walmart with a wide variety of products from Mexico the U.S. and other places) a Sam's and a new shopping mall – one of the top picks for non-Mexican buyers is the complete gated commmunity, Puerto Aventuras.

In addition to the 100 miles of wide, soft, white beaches for which the area is famous, Playa del Carmen Real Estate also draws property buyers with its many other natural beauties. One of these is the Mesoamerican Reef, which is a rare beauty and can be an awe-inspiring site for those who have the opportunity to see it; this reef may soon be included an a Marine Environmental Protection Program to ensure that the reef's incredibly diverse eco-system remains in tact.

When contemplating a property on the ocean, most buyers will consider a Playa del Carmen beachfront condo as a top pick, and this is with good reason. Playa del Carmen Condos are located on a beachfront that is constantly chosen as one of the best on an international level. With a recently project to widen the beaches, excellent infrastructure development, and a lifestyle that blends many activities for day to day life with a unique European atmosphere, even Playa del Carmen Luxury Condos are well priced compared to similar options in locations that have provide a similar level of lifestyle.

The Playa del Carmen real estate board is busy working on an aggressive project for this coming fall of 2010.  They are working with the municipality of Playa del Carmen in organizing the first of its type 2-day-forum.  The main purpose of this event is to obtain the diversification of investments being channeled into the region.  The objective is to draw the attention and secure commitments from organizations representing the Medical, Financial, Retirement, Recreation, Industrial industries and are leaders in their fields for introducing and maintaining processes that respect the prevention of environmental degradation.  Currently Playa del Carmen has a strong presence of a wide variety of companies and organizations representing the tourist sector.  This fall, with support of the  municipality and the backing of federal organizations such as Pro Mexico, the Riviera Maya AMPI real estate board will be busy welcoming environmentally responsible organizations to analyze the Playa del Carmen real estate region as an investment option.
