My friend Sabrina Lear, head of english programming at CaboMil radio just sent this, it appears to be a public service announcement they're going to be running, but it's the first legit info on how to get aid. Those people need our help!
The International Community Foundation is partnering with the Mexican Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts in Baja California Sur caused by Hurricane Jimena. The Red Cross has determined that the greatest needs are found in Lopez Mateos, Campo Rene, Santa Rosalia, and Mulege. In addition, land access has been cut off from many small villages and ranches. Donations for disaster relief will assist the Red Cross in distributing survival food boxes, water, clothing, tarps, and medical supplies. To donate, go to www.icfdn.org (spell address) and click on Online Donation at the top of the home page above the search box. The Baja California Disaster Relief Fund is easy to find through the Online Donation link. Over $11,000 US has been raised so far.... that's www.icfdn.org/ (spell address)... Cabo Mil Cares.
