A dream for many of us is to own a piece of Yucatan Real Estate, which has been made famous through images of luxury condos on Cancun's beachfront or a beautiful villa in Playa del Carmen. Many people also know about Merida's colonial Historic Center, or the nearby beachfront property available in the nearby Progreso. The Yucatan Peninsula is rich in many real estate options. But one market which is just now being discovered is the Campeche Real Estate area, where there is some excellent Mexico Land available at very reasonable prices for those who want to build their own personalized dream home on the beachfront.

When buying real estate in Mexico you can focus all your time on the purchasing process and sometimes forget that you are moving to a different country and will need a visa.

The Tulum real estate market has received a large doses of adrenaline. With the presence of President Calderon the Federal Government announced the start of the bidding process for granting the winner of the contract for the airport in the Riviera Maya. It is estimated that in its early stages, this airport will accommodate 3 million passengers a year, more than Puerto Vallarta, Toluca and San Jose del Cabo.

A Mexico Retirement for Canadians includes one of the most important factors to consider in your retirement; lifestyle. While budget and cost of day to day life are also a very important factor, the strong Canadian dollar, and continued price reductions in Mexico Real Estate make Mexico Retirement the perfect choice for the budget side of things. Yet, just as much as money, when you choose your retirement location, lifestyle and level of comfort and convenience must be considered, and when you're living in Mexico these items go happily hand in hand with the excellent budget choice it presents.

Last week end, we spent the afternoon snorkeling for turtles. We went with some good friends who have been searching on options for a Mexico retirement life. In their study, they have been analyzing if there are enough activities in the zone to keep them entertained and if there are activities to keep their families entertained when visiting. Their thoughts on a Mexico real estate retirement home has opened their eyes to many new options which were not available five years ago.

The Cancun real estate market is effected and keeps close tabs on the trends of the tourist industry. Despite all of the global economic woes, 2009 ended with Cancun as one of the most sought out and attractive tourist destinations in Mexico. This past week Google published their Zeitgeist List for 2009 and Cancun was number one for searches by Mexican nationals in the category of tourist destinations. http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/zeitgeist2009/regional.html#mexico

The first morning that we spent in Campeche I was off and running early in the morning to see the city first hand. I have been whispered that the Campeche Real Estate market was getting ready to take off. There have been some significant investments by a European developer in the zone and several local, state and federal offices as well have been injecting money into the region.

Campeche is the state capital of Campeche state on the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. The Campeche real estate market has caught our attention and TOP Mexico Real Estate decided to make a discovery trip to find out first hand what is going on in this region. Bob McCain, a good friend of ours who has been working very successfully in the Playa del Carmen real estate market for the past 6 years, invited us out to see some cheap Mexico beachfront real estate!

Tourism sector development is a key factor in the development of the Mexico real estate market, and Lake Chapala Real Estate is no exception. Tourist development means more infrastructure, more services, and more economic movement to support a higher quality of life. The Lake Chapala Real Estate area is currently a part of a state government program to open up undeveloped tourist potential in the area.

What is going on in the Campeche real estate market or maybe we should back up one and ask, Where is Campeche? In the next several weeks I will be reviewing and “discovering” this region of the Mexico real estate area located on the Yucatan Peninsula.
