El Salvador is one of the surfer’s paradises with some of the world’s best waves and 190 miles of sandy beaches, warm weather, and water temperatures in the 80s throughout the year. It is the smallest country in Central America. El Salvador is smaller than the state of Massachusetts. Bordered by Guatemala and Honduras, its Pacific coastline that actually runs east west forms El Salvador southern border.
On the west end of the coast you can see dramatic cliff lines along the sea. The country’s light sand beaches are also found in the west. In the central part the terrain levels out and the sand is mostly black and grey. The hospitality is superb. Many baby boomers are happy living there.
