The Tropical Paradise!“I am you; you are ME. You are the waves; I am the ocean. Know this and be free, be divine.” There is no other tropical paradise in the world, like that of Cancun. To think this sparkling jewel of the Mexican Caribbean is only a little over 30 years old is amazing. It wasn’t until 1974 that Cancun was chosen for the biggest tourism development around. This beautiful area has everything a person could ever want in a beach, clear transparent blue waters, beaches so white and powdery fine, just as nice as any of the Caribbean islands. Learn More |

the Weather in Cancun Mexico and More
Cancun actually means Golden Snake in Mayan, which is quite an appropriate name, because of its long stretch of golden white beach. It covers a 15 mile long sliver of land that connects to the mainland by bridges, divided by the Nichupte lagoon. For many centuries it was an ancient cultural village, with beautiful virgin beaches but extremely difficult to get to.The weather in Cancun Mexico was always known to be wonderful even by the ancient cultures. It wasn’t until the 70´s that a group of analysts began to promote it to the Mexican government, as the next Mexican tropical Paradise.
Catching a Wave of Appreciation in the Rivera Maya about Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Cozumel
By: Thomas Lloyd at Ventana Magazine During the 1990’s the little village was known as the pier town where you grabbed the ferry to get to Cozumel. As this little village has become more intertwined with the international business world, adjustments to the real estate market have been a direct effect of the world economic downturn.
The losses of jobs and corporate sales in the economies of the US and Canada have reduced the number of buyers here in Mexico. The bankruptcies of several international banks have also tightened both the regulations on credits and the amount of available capital for investments. These economic hardships have decreased the demand of the Riviera Maya market place. |
