La Chorrera is a city in Southern Panama. It is located around 30 km southwest of Panama City. Economics in the area involve agricultural processing,  coffee bean agriculture, orange trees, cattle, and commerce.

It is served by the Pacific Port of Caimito on the
Gulf of Panama. You can see several spectacular waterfalls nearby in the CaimitoRiver. These include “El Chorro”, “Cano Quebrado”, and “Santa Rita”.La Chorrera has an annual feast honoring St. Francis, the town’s patron saint.

There are beaches within Chorrera which make it a perfect home for people who want to soak up the sun and perhaps enjoy a slower pace of life.
