The second group of airports is formed by terminals of Tacna, Juliaca (Puno), Arequipa, Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios), Ayacucho and Andahuaylas (Apurimac), located to the south of the country. “We are working a new version of the concession contract. We are overcoming some difficulties in Juliaca and Andahuaylas, besides we still need to complete the perimetric fence in Puerto Maldonado,” Cornejo said. Likewise, he mentioned that this year they will begin the construction works of the new airport in Pisca (Ica), to make alternative uses Jorge Chavez International Airport, located in Lima, and that will demand an investment of over US$40 million. |
