Mexican Presidency published last week a good news for all the residents of the State of Guanajuato where San Miguel de Allende is located, a popular city for Americans and Canadians to retire.
Mexico's Health Care is a mix of several options any Mexican or person living or visiting in Mexico has to take care of his/her health by a constitutional mandate.
Mexico's health care includes options like
Private Health Insurance paid by citizens to private companies to receive medical attention by private doctors in private hospitals, what is very similar to the current US health care.
Social Security Health Care provided by the government for anyone living and working in Mexico, what is paid in part by employers, part by the employee and part by the Federal Government.
Specialty Institutions sponsored by private patronages and Federal Government that are dedicated to medical research and provide high tech health services to the population paying what they can afford.
Public Hospitals that can be Federal, State or Municipal sustained. where health care and prescriptions have zero cost for anyone in need for the services.
Mexico is a capitalistic country, but in the other side is a social responsible capitalism, we believe in a free market where the people have options to choose between any kind of products, systems and where people is our main asset, that is why health care is open and anyone has the right to choose what is better for them.
This Article is a great news about a new Public Hospital just opened to increase the quality of the public health services for the State of Guanajuato. Yesterday a similar but bigger Public Hospital was Opened in the State of Puebla.
