Our situation is we are in our late fifties and after 40 years of hard work we are ready to relax and meet new people and take a leap into a new culture. We need to know about cost of living, long term rentals (weht we can get for how much) My wife and I have had a pretty good life and are now used to soe of the luxuries in life. We prefer a house 2-3 bedrooms, maybe a pool. I am wondering what to expect in your area as well as puerto vallera area. A luxury condo would suite her fine I think. I am a retired auto worker and my pension is around $2000 a month. I would expect to pay $800 to $1000 for a rental long term. I am looking and nearly everything is furnished and she has a problem with that, also we are dog lovers and have a weimeraner that is part of our family. Am I just dreaming or can we find what we are looking for and survive with that amount? Thanks for your help and we expect to take a trip your way in the next 3 months.
